The key duties of the position include The Role The Senior Engagement Officer has lead responsibility for the delivery of domestic engagement across ADC. This includes, but is not limited to coordinating the Australian War College graduation; managing other events, domestic courses, seminars and conferences; ADC branding; alumni engagement (including the newsletter) and social media. You may be involved in strategic dialogues, gifting, and our engagement web presence. You will contribute to setting the strategic direction for Commander ADC's engagement priorities, and deliver advice and solutions related to international and domestic engagement within the College. You will assist with the delivery of new initiatives, such as the expansion of the ADC Alumni Program. The role includes liaison with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including International Policy Division, universities and representatives from a range of nations. About our Team The Australian Defence College (ADC) Engagement is a fun, high performing, and results driven team based at Weston Creek, which supports Commander ADC, and the College leadership team. The team is responsible for all aspects of domestic and international engagement across a range of activities. This includes event management, VIP visit coordination, strategic dialogue and alumni management. Team members collaborate, as well as work autonomously to prioritise and deliver results across both domestic and international engagement, to ensure high quality advice and support to the ADC executive in all engagement matters. A major priority for the team going forward is designing, developing and implementing a comprehensive, dynamic and engaging alumni program for graduates, staff and friends of ADC. We want to ensure that past, present and future members of the ADC community build a strong, positive and enduring connection to the College.
