NTT DATA is looking for a Network Engineer (L3) to manage WAN, LAN and Data Centre Networking, Wireless Networks, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Corporate Telephony and Network Management Platforms and Applications. This role will be a permanent position working within our Canberra Secure Operations Centre (CSOC). This is a team within the Managed Services Delivery group providing services to Public and Private sector clients that require support of protected Infrastructure, systems and applications needing security clearance. The CSOC provides Platform, Application, Network and Security services to clients and internal NTT business units. What You'll be Doing Work independently, with general direction from the client, stakeholders, team lead or senior manager, to perform operational tasks to resolve all incidents / requests in a timely manner within agreed SLA. Timely and consistent updates of tickets with resolution tasks performed. Proactively identify, investigate, analyse issues and errors prior to or when they occur and log all such incidents in a timely manner. Capture all required and relevant information for immediate resolution. Plan, coordinate and implement complex system changes within client specified change windows. Liaise with the client, vendors, and other partners to ensure minimal disruption to the client’s day-to-day business operations. Monitor performance levels and capacity of supported devices and networks and assist in proper capacity planning and management. Test new software versions and patches for release suitability and problem resolution. Maintain detailed, accurate technical documentation and operational procedures for supported solutions. Operate within Security and Compliance frameworks. Support facility and access management for the NOC Operations Centre and associated data centres. Obtain and maintain all role-specific internal certifications required to perform the duties of the position effectively. Your Experience and Qualifications You must be an Australian Citizen and hold an AGSVA NV1 Clearance. A Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
