About the role: Georgiou is proud to be part of the Tonkin Extension Alliance - a key infrastructure initiative that will improve connectivity and safety across Perth's north-eastern corridor. With major road upgrades and new transport connections underway, this project presents a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful change in WA's infrastructure landscape. This project represents a $1 billion investment in Perth's Road network, including a 14 km dual carriageway extension, grade-separated interchanges, underpasses (pedestrian, cycle, equine and rail), equine crossings, shared-use paths and local road upgrades. Your skills and experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the civil construction industry and a strong background in civil / bulk earthworks Those with MRWA experience will be highly regarded Hold a Civil Engineering degree Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and suppliers for site works Attends to the scope of work assigned with defined work methods and delivers the work in accordance with total project schedule. Experience in coordinating and/or running toolbox meetings, pre-start meetings, site inductions and a demonstrated commitment to HSEQ practices Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills which enable you to assist in resolution of client and key stakeholder's concerns Experience in guiding and leading a high performing team You will be trusted to: Lead daily engineering and delivery oversight, coordinating major construction packages (e.g. civil infrastructure, earthworks, and structures). Mentor junior engineers and site supervisors - overseeing method statements, ensuring quality controlled delivery and enforcing HSEQ compliance. Ensure smooth handover between design and construction packages, managing queries and constructability reviews in partnership with GHD and Civcon design teams. Lead cost-control and claims management - reporting progress, conducting quantity checks, tracking delay events, and collaborating with Commercial team to forecast cost-to-complete. Hold responsibility for subcontractor performance, including variations, disputes and quality assurance. Provide visible leadership - leading toolbox talks, overseeing site inductions and reporting to Alliance leadership and Main Roads WA stakeholders.
