Job Description The Public Area Supervisor at Elysium Noosa plays a key role in presenting the property beautifully at all times. You will oversee the cleanliness, presentation, and upkeep of all public spaces, including lobbies, corridors, lifts, restrooms, gardens, external pathways, pool surrounds, and community areas. You will lead and support the Public Area Attendants, ensuring standards are consistently high and our environment is inviting from the moment guests arrive. This position requires strong attention to detail, solid leadership skills, and the ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods. Experience in a supervisory role in hospitality or cleaning services is highly regarded. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily cleaning and presentation of all public areas, gardens, walkways, pool deck, and shared facilities to brand standards. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and presentation. Lead, train, and support Public Area Attendants to maintain high performance standards. Prepare rosters, allocate daily tasks, and ensure adequate staffing coverage. Monitor grooming standards and provide feedback to team members. Coordinate garden upkeep, deep cleaning, pest control, and periodic project work. Report and follow up on maintenance issues with Engineering. Manage cleaning supplies, chemicals, equipment, and inventory control. Deliver exceptional guest service, responding promptly to requests and supporting during peak periods. Complete daily administrative tasks, handovers, and incident reporting. Assist the Executive Housekeeper with additional duties as required.
