The Logistics Planner primary role is to ensure that the Load Plans are followed in a through compliant and proficient manner. This Success profile encompasses all facets of Logistics Planning, including Ocean, Air and Domestic planning. ABOUT THE ROLE Develop and manage daily load planning to ensure efficient transportation operations. Analyse and optimize existing processes to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Ensure forecast accuracy through continuous monitoring, analysis, and coordination with relevant stakeholders. Secure and manage future bookings to maintain capacity alignment with business demand. Monitor carrier service performance and provide regular performance reports with actionable insights. Actively participate in monthly performance and planning meetings, contributing data-driven recommendations. ABOUT YOU Proven logistics experience in a similar role; industry-specific experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of ocean carriers and sea freight operations. Sound understanding of air freight forwarders and air freight processes. Ability to extract and analyze data from CargoWise, converting it into structured and usable Excel reports. Demonstrated experience in managing customer relationships and effectively resolving operational issues. Competent in implementing and maintaining safety procedures, including product safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance standards. Coordinate closely with the Supply Planning team to ensure correct vendor selection, temperature compliance for chilled and frozen goods, and accurate identification of carton or carcass bookings. Ensure accurate and timely data entry across all relevant systems. Identify and resolve data discrepancies and system-related issues as required. Practical experience using ERP platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), and Thorsys. BENEFITS Ability to live and work on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
