Your Role as a Product & Sales Training Specialist As a Product & Sales Training Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-impact learning experiences that strengthen product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and customer engagement across the Mercedes-Benz Retailer Network. Through the delivery of engaging face-to-face and virtual training that translates complex vehicle technology into compelling customer-facing value. You will work closely with internal Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to align training content with local market needs . Key Duties & Responsibilities · Design and deliver engaging Product, Sales Systems & Sales training programs, both face-to-face and virtual, with a strong emphasis on vehicle features, competitive positioning, customer benefits, and sales conversations. · Translate technical vehicle information (including BEV and High-Voltage technologies) into clear, customer-relevant messaging for sales and customer-facing roles. · Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing teams to support product launches, campaigns, and brand consistency. · Review, localise, and maintain training materials to ensure relevance for the Australian and New Zealand markets. · Act as a subject-matter expert for Retailers, providing guidance on product knowledge, value propositions, sales systems and customer engagement best practices. · Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities to continuously enhance facilitation capability and product expertise. · Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Training Academy, ensuring all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements are met. · Support the wider Training Academy team as required. · This role requires occasional domestic and international travel. What You Will Need to Be Successful · Demonstrated experience in product training, sales training, or automotive retail operations. · Strong understanding of automotive products, with electric and hybrid vehicle knowledge highly regarded. · Proven ability to deliver engaging classroom or virtual learning experiences, including the ability to work with Digital training and digital media. · Capability to translate complex or technical content into persuasive customer-facing language. · Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. · Strong organisational and time-management capabilities in a dynamic environment. · Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a broader team. · Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel , coupled with a high level of adaptability and openness to incorporating AI and automation tools into daily work. · A flexible, agile, and adaptable mindset with a strong passion for learning and development.
