About the Role:  The Product Development Executive is responsible for the development and delivery of market-driven, professional development products. These products are designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of professionals working in finance, accounting, business and related functions. This role includes conference program development and execution, program structuring, speaker engagement, stakeholder liaison, and budget oversight. A strong emphasis is placed on efficiency, content integrity, and aligning products to strategic and commercial priorities.  Your key responsibilities include: Structure market-driven, learning outcome-focused programs aligned to member and commercial needs, selecting and engaging high-quality speakers, ensuring development timelines, timely delivery and effective session content Coordinate the end-to-end development of multiple concurrent conferences and/or congresses, liaising with internal stakeholders to coordinate logistics, marketing, and sponsorship, and support onsite event execution and troubleshooting as needed Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, speakers, internal teams and external partners, facilitate advisory boards and research panels , and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment Ensure cost-effective production within event budgets, n egotiate speaker fees and manage presenter-related costs, and support the preparation of sponsorship and marketing briefs for event promotion and revenue generation Track, evaluate, and report on event performance and stakeholder feedback, recommend and implement improvements to programming processes and systems, and maintain competitor awareness and industry intelligence   This position is a 6 month fixed term contract opportunity   About You:  You will come to us with strong program development and project management skills, as well as:  Proactivity and a tenacity to follow through and meet deadlines Excellent communication, research, and stakeholder engagement skills Commercial acumen with a focus on financial performance Level of autonomy and time management Strong written and verbal communication skills Budgeting and reporting experience Proficient in MS Office and related systems Experience in conference production or event management Experience with virtual or hybrid event delivery Understanding of the professional development landscape in finance or related sectors    Why We Love Working at CPA Australia  At CPA Australia, weâre proud of our vibrant, values-led culture.
