As the Service Product Manager - Automation (SPM), you will own the strategy, development, and lifecycle of our Automation services, ensuring they deliver customer value and align with FCTG goals. Act as the link between business needs and technical execution, you'll define the service roadmap, prioritise customer feedback, and drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery. Day in the life: Own the end-to-end lifecycle, vision, and roadmap for the Automation service portfolio Translate strategic business objectives into scalable, value-driven automation solutions Engage stakeholders across business, IT, operations, and vendors to gather requirements and align priorities Define, track, and report on service performance using SLAs, KPIs, adoption, and value-realisation metrics Drive continuous improvement through backlog prioritisation, innovation pipelines, and technical debt management Lead service enhancements, releases, and change coordination to ensure minimal business disruption Oversee incident, problem, and root cause management to improve service reliability and resilience Manage service costs, budgets, and vendor performance to optimise value and return on investment Ensure operational readiness through robust documentation, knowledge management, and support models Maintain compliance with security, risk, and regulatory standards across all automation capabilities You'll be perfect for the role if you have: 5 years of product management experience, with at least 2–3 years in platform, API, or shared services environments Proven success managing technical products used by multiple teams in a large enterprise Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.
