The Victorian Local Government Act 2020 improves the standard of behaviour of local councillors and provides a clear process for dealing with councillor misconduct by internal arbitration processes. The Department of Government Services invites expressions of interest for appointment to a Panel List from which members will be selected to hear and determine applications against councillors for misconduct.
