Education and Student Experience Deliver UQ’s strategic school partnerships, shaping impactful programs and initiatives Base salary will be in the range $117,958.12 - $132,247.57 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8) Full-time, permanent, based at our lovely St Lucia Campus About the Role The School Relationships Manager will have a strategically important role driving impactful partnerships with schools across Queensland that support pathways to higher education for school students. Working with key teams at UQ, the successful applicant will shape initiatives that inspire students, support teachers, enhance equity and access, and deliver measurable results aligned with UQ’s mission. In this highly visible and impactful role, you’ll work with university leaders and key partner schools to provide strategic advice, coordinate engagement initiatives, and deliver programs that strengthen student pathways and educational outcomes. You’ll also support and manage a Partnerships and Engagement Coordinator, guiding their work to ensure partnership activities are delivered effectively and align with broader objectives. You bring a collaborative mindset, sound judgement, and the ability to build and maintain partnerships that deliver meaningful outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Relevant postgraduate qualifications, or equivalent experience in education or partnerships Strong understanding of pedagogy, secondary and higher education pathways and equity initiatives Proven experience building and managing strategic external partnerships Ability to collaborate across diverse teams to deliver shared strategic outcomes Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver results Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia, qualifications, criminal history checks, and Blue Card checks.
