The Lazard Business Systems & Data team are responsible for driving business improvement throughout Asia Pac. This role involves working with the team (and with Agentic AI) to deliver automation solutions, build data pipelines and develop software. We are looking for an individual who has strong attention to detail and time management ability along with excellent numerical skills. The ideal candidate is looking to learn and grow; can demonstrate a track record of learning and experimenting with new technologies as well as delivering precise results. This role would suit a finance, science or IT graduate with one to five years’ experience. We’ll trust you to: Build, run, and enhance automation reports for monthly and quarterly client reporting across multiple asset classes, using and improving the existing reporting framework and agentic AI. Maintain and oversee automated reporting processes to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely delivery for separately managed clients. Build and implement end‑to‑end data and automation solutions while partnering predominately with APAC and local teams to introduce regional tools, improve business workflows, and support the adoption of new systems across distribution, operations, and investment teams. You’ll need to have: Demonstrated interest in automation or workflow optimization. Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with stakeholders to understand issues, propose solutions, and guide implementation. Excellent analytical and numerical ability, with high attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with APAC teams and local stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Excel and general comfort with standard productivity tools. Working knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, SQL, or VBA), with the ability to learn additional languages and technologies as required using Agentic AI. Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
