We have consistent vacancies across: Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) Core Maternity Dual Registered (RN/RM) Clinical Midwife (NG6 & NG7) Contracts vary in length and commencement dates, with opportunities available throughout 2026. Contract Rates Rates are dependent on hospital requirements, availability, contract specifics, and your experience and skillset. The below reflects higher-level experienced clinicians (7 years): RN / RM (NG6) $70.00 – $71.56 per hour (base rate) Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) Base rate 35% casual loading Clinical Nurse/Midwife (CN NG6 & NG7) Up to $80.00 – $96.43 per hour (Exact rates vary depending on role level and service requirements.) Contract Types Available Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) Provide continuity of care across the full maternity journey within a caseload model. Ideal for confident, autonomous midwives with strong antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal experience. Core Maternity Work across birth suite, antenatal and postnatal wards in supportive hospital-based teams. Dual Registered (RN/RM) Opportunities for clinicians who bring both general nursing and midwifery capability to regional and rural facilities. ⚕️ Clinical Nurse (NG6 & NG7) Leadership-focused contracts for highly experienced midwives with demonstrated advanced clinical skills and team support capabilities. ✅ Essential Criteria Current AHPRA registration as a Midwife (and RN if dual registered) Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience (7 years for higher-tier rates) Rural/remote experience highly regarded FSEP (where required) Ability to work across full scope of practice (for MGP roles) Why Register Your Interest?
