This is a hands‑on Production Manager role overseeing day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, performance, and team leadership across a rapidly growing site. You'll lead the production team through a major scale-up phase, including the introduction and commissioning of a new high speed production line. Description Responsibilities of the Production Manager: Reporting to the GM, the Production Manager is responsible for leading people, plant, and performance across the site. You will drive execution of the master production schedule, uphold strict product quality and food safety standards, partner closely with Maintenance, QA, R&D, and Planning, manage labour resources, and deliver on key KPIs including safety, efficiency, and cost. The role is hands‑on, requiring strong troubleshooting capability, effective communication, and continuous improvement focus especially during the commissioning and optimisation of the new production line. Profile A successful Production Manager must have the following skills: Experienced Production Manager or a Senior Supervisor with people leadership experience ready to step up with a background in FMCG or food manufacturing. Strong leadership capability, a practical and solutions‑focused approach, and experience in people development, plant troubleshooting, and implementing improvements. You thrive in growing environments, can mentor and elevate existing supervisors, and are comfortable working flexibly across the day to support site operations, including during high-activity commissioning phases.
