This is a hands-on 3D design role suited to an engineer or experienced draftsperson who enjoys practical engineering — designing real equipment that actually gets built in a workshop, transported, and installed on site. The Role 3D CAD design, detailing, and drafting with Inventor or SolidWorks, designing mechanical components and structural assemblies, working closely with workshop teams, engineers, and project managers to deliver buildable, efficient solutions. General arrangement and fabrication drawings. Design steel base frames and skid structures. Design platforms, walkways, and access systems. Mechanical equipment layouts (P&ids, pipework). Electrical interfaces, LV systems. Transportable plant and prefabricated systems. Bill of Materials and steel detailing. Basic structural and load considerations (lifting, transport, mounting). Cross-discipline coordination with electrical and mechanical teams.
