We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our Maintenance Team. This role requires a hands‑on, reliable person with a strong mechanical background — particularly in forklift maintenance (LPG, Diesel and Electric) — and the ability to work both in the workshop and out in the field. A can‑do attitude, attention to detail, and flexibility to work outside normal hours during peak seasonal periods are essential. Key Responsibilities: Safely and effectively maintain a variety of equipment and machinery Adhere to company Work Health and Safety procedures Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance programs across all equipment Diagnose and respond to breakdowns efficiently and effectively Accurately record maintenance activities and service history Ensure high-quality workmanship across all engineering and maintenance tasks Complete allocated tasks efficiently and to a high standard Report any issues that may arise when performing work duties to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager. This includes quality, safety and machine reliability or performance issues Ability to work shifts and weekends when required during Vintage Essential Qualifications & Skills: Relevant trade qualifications: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or Cert III Diesel Mechanic (or other relevant trade) Strong mechanical background with proven experience in forklift maintenance Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team Self‑motivated, organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently Current Driver’s Licence Current Forklift Licence This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic team where your contribution will be valued!
