At Scope We Celebrate people! We’re looking for a Disability Support Worker to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Warrawong. This role requires a pro-active, engaging and reliable person who has a love for building clients independence through person centered care and making a difference! This is a permanent part‑time opportunity, offering 28 hours per fortnight. PPT line Week 1: Mon 6:30-2:30am, Sat 3-7pm, Week 2: Tues 2-8pm, Thurs 6-10am, Fri 2-8pm Your new role: Supporting adults with complex mental health and, intellectual and physical disabilities in an independent living model. Following positive behaviour support and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers. Encouraging capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely. Promoting choice and control and show willingness to participate in clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests. Providing personal care with dignity and respect What's in it for you?
