Description About the role The Lead Client Enablement Manager (Lead CEM) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating a portfolio of client-facing initiatives that directly support the enablement, transformation, and delivery of value to clients. This role ensures initiatives are aligned with client needs, strategic priorities, and contractual obligations. The Lead CEM plays a critical role in supporting high-quality delivery outcomes by enabling visibility, governance, and proactive decision-making across a range of client enablement programs and projects. Operating within the Client Delivery team, they serve as a key liaison between internal delivery teams and senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and timely execution. Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities Manage the portfolio of client enablement initiatives, ensuring they are aligned to Client Delivery plans and strategic objectives. Act as the single point of truth for the status, risks, benefits, and dependencies across the client enablement portfolio. Maintain portfolio-level governance in line with business standards and client expectations. Lead regular reporting to the Portfolio Manager or Client Delivery Executive and other governance forums, providing insights on performance, prioritisation, and risk. Ensure initiatives within the portfolio are prioritised in line with client commitments, internal capacity, and commercial value. Provide advice and recommendations on sequencing, trade-offs, and resource allocations based on client and business needs. Collaborate with the Client Delivery team, account managers, and client representatives to understand upcoming demand, challenges, and change drivers. Communicate portfolio priorities and progress to ensure client confidence and alignment. Monitor and escalate delivery risks and issues across the portfolio that may impact client outcomes or business performance. Proactively identify and manage interdependencies, ensuring that changes to one initiative are assessed for downstream impact. Partner with business unit leaders and project teams to ensure resource availability and the right capability mix for initiative delivery. Monitor resource demand versus capacity and raise any bottlenecks or constraints for resolution. Track benefits realisation and continuous improvement opportunities across client-facing initiatives. Contribute to uplift in portfolio management maturity, toolsets, and reporting frameworks. Experience & Personal Attributes 7 years in delivery, transformation, or portfolio leadership and 3 years managing complex portfolios across client-facing or enablement initiatives Strong experience operating in matrixed environments with cross-functional delivery Experience engaging directly with clients, business leaders, and governance bodies A proactive, adaptable leader with high accountability and client service orientation Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and balance short-term delivery with long-term enablement strategy Excellent communication skills to translate technical and project detail into clear, outcome-focused messaging for clients and executives Proficiency in producing and supporting the production of legal documents such as Statements of Work, RFPs, etc High proficiency in portfolio tools and reporting platforms Expertise in delivery methodologies such as Agile, MSP, PMI, or PRINCE2 Strong commercial acumen, with an ability to track investment and return across the portfolio Ability to influence without authority, resolve conflicts, and drive cross-functional alignment Some of our Employment Benefits FlexiWorks – enabling our employees to work in the office and at home Purchased Leave, Parental Leave, Volunteer Leave, Gender transition leave, Well-being leave Employee Recognition Program - to recognise people who are demonstrating our values and Company purpose.
