About the opportunity We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and adaptable professional to join our Civil Asset Maintenance team as a Web and Digital Content Officer on a permanent, full‑time basis. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our vision of becoming the best Council in Australia. You will help deliver high‑quality digital services to our community and play a central part in supporting and showcasing City Asset initiatives. Qualifications and experience Essential: Diploma qualification in graphic design Demonstrated experience using computer software programs including Microsoft Office suite Suitable experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom Knowledge of UI and UX design, HTML5 and CSS3 Strong skills in typography, branding and layout design Solid experience using digital SLR camera and/or drones General knowledge of civil construction terms and activities Demonstrated commitment to customer service Ability to work within a team environment. Desirable: Current class C driver’s licence Experience working with OpenCities program for website content management Knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro video software Experience with Council’s corporate operating system CiA Strong understanding of the Blacktown City Council Writing Style Guide and Corporate Graphic Standards. Remuneration and benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
