Description Key Responsibilities Safely undertake works associated with the construction, commissioning, operating and maintenance of overhead distribution systems in accordance with your training and scope of authorisation Use, interpret and apply complex or advanced drawings and diagrams Use a variety of locating and fault-finding equipment Undertake all required safety processes and documentation, safety responsibilities and ensure the health and safety of yourself and others Participate in daily toolbox meetings Ensure all site requirements are adhered to Comply with all laws and regulations associated with the electrical industry Drive and operate company vehicles and mobile plant Skills And Experiences Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead Level 1 ASP authorisation (preferred) Demonstrated experience working on the Essential Energy network Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR/HC/MC – unrestricted) Strong understanding of Essential Energy network standards and safety compliance White Card Full Australian working rights Takes pride in clean, compliant overhead work Works safely without being told twice Can lead apprentices or junior crew members on site Shows up ready and reliable
