Description Reporting to the Principal – Recruitment & Global Mobility, the primary focus of this role is to ensure the availability of suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill vacancies in the organisation and to assist hiring managers in selection of the most appropriate candidates. This 12-month fixed-term role will be based in our corporate office located in Milton working a 40-hour week Monday to Friday with the option to work from home 2 days each week. Responsibilities Proactively manage and participate in effective end to end recruitment including hiring manager briefs, job advertisements, shortlisting, interviewing, coordination of site visits, conducting due diligence and offer management. Build and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers to ensure resourcing supports business needs. Create and post job advertisements through online platforms (Oracle, Seek & LinkedIn). Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit. Building relationships with potential candidates through networking. Provide candidates with an industry leading, positive candidate experience from initial engagement through to offer. Creating and maintaining a talent pipeline for future recruitment needs. Conducting LinkedIn searches to proactively contact, headhunt and attract talent. Manage key stakeholder relationships as a valued recruitment partner, building a thorough understanding of the business, role requirements and desired candidate profiles. Observe and practice the highest standards of ethical behaviour, integrity and honesty. Management of recruitment mailboxes and actioning relevant emails in a timely manner. Developing recruitment advertising material for individual vacancies or recruiting campaigns; and ensuring candidates receive appropriate communications about their applications. Facilitating travel, accommodation and site access arrangements for candidates undergoing site visit. Coordinating Papua New Guinea work permit and visa applications for new starters. Qualifications About You: To succeed in this role, you should be self-motivated and able to work efficiently and collaboratively with: Minimum 3 years’ recruitment experience in the mining or resources sector; expatriate and project recruitment will be highly regarded. An established track record of successful recruitment placements across technical and projects roles. Ability to work as part of a cooperative team with a willingness to help others. Highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
