ConsultANZ is looking for an Excavation Operator to join a well-established civil contractor in Sydney. Our client is known for delivering major infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects. This is a hands-on role where you will operate excavators and contribute directly to large-scale earthworks and excavation projects. Key Responsibilities Operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Carry out bulk excavation, digging, and earthmoving tasks according to project specifications. Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery. Work closely with site teams to ensure projects stay on schedule. Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures. Requirements 3–5 years’ experience operating excavators or heavy plant on civil or construction sites. Hold relevant plant operator tickets and licenses. Knowledge of excavation techniques, soil conditions, and safe work practices. Strong team focus, reliability, and commitment to site safety.
