Newly created position for a Project Manager to work on the implementation of a new Loan Origination platform. Due to the nature of the program, it is essential you have prior project experience in a similar domain - Mortgages, Lending, Loan Origination, Credit etc. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and delivery of complex IT projects, particularly core lending system builds or upgrades Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans Manage third-party vendors, technology partners, and internal development teams Drive agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies across project lifecycles Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements Oversee system integrations (e.g. CRM, loan origination, credit decisioning tools) Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues Ensure governance, reporting, and documentation standards are maintained Track progress and provide regular updates to senior leadership Support change management and business readiness for system rollout Skills Required 5 years' experience as an IT Project Manager, ideally within financial services or lending Experience delivering system builds or transformations (loan origination systems highly regarded) Strong understanding of software delivery (APIs, integrations, cloud-based systems) Experience working in agile, scrum, or hybrid environments Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technology Strong vendor management experienc Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skill Experience in non-bank lending, fintech, or SME lending environments Familiarity with credit systems, underwriting workflows, or payments platforms Relevant certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile/Scrum) The position is based in Sydney CBD and is 5 days in office.
