As a Human Resources Generalist in Resource Industries Operations and Product Division (RIOP), you are part of a global team of HR professionals supporting global business partners to achieve their goals. This position specifically supports Australia RIOP team members which includes the Hard Rock Vehicle (HRV) organization and Burnie location. In this role you are a trusted adviser to the HRV team providing innovative and tailored people solutions and play a key role to ensure the success of the team today and into the future by partnering on organizational design, talent needs, career and skills development, coaching, mentoring and business decisions. Job duties include, but are not limited to the following: Through your unique ideas, experiences, and approach, you will use strategic thinking, communication, influence and change management skills to partner closely with the HRV leadership team: on employee needs to help the business achieve key priorities to build a diverse and inclusive workforce through communications, education, and talent acquisition strategies using data analytics to drive positive change and visibility to progress to partner on projects related to culture, employee engagement, talent pipeline, organizational design, and other key focus areas to provide tailored direction regarding interpretation and application of employee-related policies and practices, as well local and governmental regulations to build relationships and contribute to others’ success through coaching, counseling and mentoring leaders and employees, including supporting teams in managing performance to collaborate with other Australian HR professionals and enterprise process owners to understand and improve local policies and processes by resolving employee relations incidents or conflicts as needed by positively impacting the future by assisting with hiring, onboarding (including new employee orientation), training, early talent projects and safety-related initiatives Basic Qualifications: College or university degree (equivalent experience) and 2-3 years of Human Resources job-related experience Broad knowledge in various areas of human resources including benefits, employment, pay-related practices/process, compensation and company policies and procedures Strong communication skills Experience using data and insights to drive decisions Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills) Ability to travel up to 10% Top candidates will also have: Experience communicating and influencing internal leaders at various levels in the organization Experience with Workday Additional Information: This position is located in Burnie Tasmania
