ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client is proudly Australia's leading steel manufacturing and distribution company. They are currently seeking Production Machine Operators to join their team in Newcastle. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for applicants with experience or interest in operating production machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include: Operating and monitoring production machinery Setting up and adjusting machines to meet production requirements Loading and unloading materials Forklift operation Quality checks and basic machine troubleshooting Packaging and preparing finished products for dispatch Shift options available: Rotating Day & Afternoon shifts Fixed Day, Afternoon, or Night shifts (depending on operational requirements) These roles require good physical fitness and strong mechanical aptitude. Previous experience in manufacturing or machinery operation is highly regarded but not essential, as full training will be provided.
