Plant Operator – Isaac Region An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Plant Operator to join Isaac Regional Councils’ Infrastructure Services Directorate. Plant Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining vehicles, plant and equipment for construction and maintenance of the region’s road network. What you’ll be doing: Operating and servicing vehicles, plant and equipment for construction, maintenance and urban services Maintaining the regions road networks General civil construction and maintenance labouring duties Working in remote areas (camping out) as needed What you need: 12 months experience operating vehicles, plant and equipment in a civil construction environment Relevant certifications for the operation of plant (Grader / Loader / Roller) Blue/White Construction Card C Class Queensland Driver’s Licence Ability to pass a medical for fitness and safety Extra licences like LR/MR/HR or Traffic Control are highly regarded If you are successful in this position, you will receive: Salary $67,578.63 - $71,319.68 per annum plus allowances, including Construction Workers Allowance and Locality Allowance Nominally 38 hours per week Monday – Thursday (3 x 10 Hour Days, 1 x 8 Hour Day) 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading 15 days personal leave per annum Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy Discounted Corporate Health Cover through multiple providers with competitive extras and coverage benefits Access to free sessions with Gryphon Psychology in accordance with our Employee Assistance Program Amazing opportunities to further your intended career path by way of succession planning, career development opportunities (e.g., upskilling through education, qualifications, etc.), and much more!
