What your work will involve You will lead the organisation’s workers compensation claims management and return to work (RTW) framework, ensuring injured workers are supported to recover and return to safe, meaningful work as early as practicable while minimising claim duration, cost and disruption to services. The role has a strong operational focus on end-to-end claims management, injury management, stakeholder coordination and compliance with workers compensation and WHS legislation. The position also provides strategic oversight of WHS systems to reduce injury risk, improve safety capability across services and minimise the financial and human impact of workplace injuries. A WHS Coordinator reports to this role. What you need to succeed Tertiary qualification in Injury Management or Health and Safety related discipline preferred Minimum 10 years’ experience in claims and injury management, preferably in managerial capacity Exceptional time management and organisational skills Excellent relationship development skills, with the ability to balance work and interaction with internal and external stakeholders Certificate in Operational Playground Inspection (AHCPGD305) or willing to obtain Cleared valid for paid work, working with Children’s Check (WWCC) SIRA Accredited Return to Work Coordinator Certificate There are lots of reasons why a role with us is rewarding Due to our size, there are big opportunities for those who want to go further.
