The key duties of the position include What you will do as the Test Analyst The IMTS Applications Management branch is seeking a Test Analyst to join its dynamic project and test team in a full-time, ongoing role. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of typical testing duties under limited direction, including: Creating, executing and documenting complex test scripts test cases using own in-depth technical analysis of functional, non-functional specifications and regression test packs Coordinating and assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes Planning and participating in Production Verification Testing (PVT) Performing functional, system, integration, and regression testing on application (desktop or web), SOE or infrastructure Recording and analysing actions and results and maintaining a defect register Providing reports on progress, metrics on test cases, anomalies, risks, and issues associated with the overall project Providing specialist testing advice to support others. About you In order to succeed in the role, you will have: At least 3 years' experience as a Test Analyst across a range of projects Well-developed testing skills and demonstrated experience of all aspects of testing processes, including creation of test plan, analysis and test case writing, test execution, record test case execution, test summary report, defect management and reporting Demonstrated experience in taking responsibility and performing testing activities under limited direction Using test management and defect tracking tools to document test cases, record test case execution results and record & track defects (qTest or similar) Experience in coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Good interpersonal skills/teamwork skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and oral form with a range of people including user acceptance testers and developers both face to face and virtually.
