The Department is seeking a high-performing Service Enablement Officer to support the effective operation of our Service Integration and Management (SIAM) multi-vendor environment. The role manages the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding of service providers, ensuring compliance, governance, and operational readiness. Acting as a key coordination point, the officer maintains accurate vendor records, supports audits, and helps resolve issues to protect service continuity. The position also serves as a gatekeeper for SIAM tooling, ensuring tools are aligned, integrated and well governed. Ideal candidates will have experience in vendor management, IT service management tools, and working in complex or regulated environments. The key duties of the position include Service Provider Onboarding Act as the primary contact for business areas and internal teams to coordinate the onboarding of new service providers, ensuring all required documentation, contracts, and compliance activities are completed. Work collaboratively with procurement, legal, finance, IT, and other stakeholders to support a smooth and timely onboarding process. Maintain accurate and up-to-date service provider information within relevant systems and registers. Provide induction or orientation materials to new providers and ensure they understand departmental policies, processes, and expectations. Service Provider Offboarding Manage the full offboarding process, including access removal, contract closure, final payments, and confirmation that all obligations are met. Ensure assets, data, and documentation are returned, archived, or transitioned appropriately. Conduct exit reviews or debrief discussions with internal stakeholders. Update all systems and records to reflect the provider's offboarding status. Compliance, Governance and Risk Monitor service provider compliance with contractual, regulatory, and departmental requirements. Support audit activities and contribute to reporting on vendor performance and compliance. Identify, escalate, and-where appropriate-coordinate the mitigation of risks related to onboarding, offboarding, provider relationships, or potential service impacts. Work proactively with stakeholders to resolve issues or conflicts to minimise service disruption. SIAM Tooling and Integration Act as a gatekeeper for SIAM-related tools, ensuring they are aligned, integrated, and governed effectively across the multi-vendor environment. Serve as the central contact for SIAM tool queries, including validation, maintenance, and prioritisation of change requests (with oversight from the SIAM Orchestration Lead). Monitor tool performance, identify issues, and work with technical teams to support resolution. Continuous Improvement Recommend and implement improvements to onboarding, offboarding, and service provider management processes. Maintain and update relevant procedures, guidance materials, and documentation to support consistent and efficient practices.
