A DAY IN THE LIFE? Reporting into the Lead HR Business Partner, this role is responsible for coordinating and administering the key human resource processes and procedures related to an employee’s lifecycle with Beacon Lighting. Acting as the central point for general HR queries, this role will play a critical part in capturing data, meaningful reporting and providing administrative support. Key Responsibilities Include: Provide operational Human Resources (HR) support services to the HR team, leaders and employees nationally. This includes providing advice on HR systems and business as usual processes, contract management, responding to queries, generate HR metrics reports, file management (physical and electronic) and other duties as required Develop and maintain strong relationships with the HR team nationally to ensure the delivery of consistent HR support that meets the needs of the customer group Complete all administrative processes associated with changes to the status of existing employees, including promotions, transfers, parental leave and resignations Provide support to HR Operations and Safety Manager as required in relation to health and safety matters and workers compensation Develop and maintain relationships with the Payroll team to ensure employee details are up-to-date and that they are paid correctly and on time Develop and maintain strong relationships with the HR team nationally to ensure the delivery of consistent HR support that meets the needs of the customer group Implement Beacon Lighting policies and procedures and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, as requested About You To shine in this role, you will bring: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR support/business administration role or similar Sound administrative and organizational skills coupled with strong attention to details skills A degree qualification in HR, Business or a related field (desirable) Establish and develop effective working relationships with line managers to maintain trust and confidence Demonstrated ability to manage interpersonal differences and escalate matters as they arise Work in accordance to Beacon Lighting's policies and procedures and agreed performance and behavioral expectations NEXT STEPS?
