About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Superintendent to lead, coordinate load out operations, asset readiness, maintenance scheduling, and facilities management. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient load out execution, safe and compliant operations, optimal equipment utilisation, and effective supervision of personnel. You will play a critical role in supporting project delivery, maintaining operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Key Responsibilities Asset Readiness & Reliability – Ensure all equipment is inspected, certified, maintained, and deployment-ready in accordance with company and client requirements. Load Out Planning & Execution – develop and oversee comprehensive mobilisation and demobilisation to meet project timelines and operational requirements. Operational Coordination – Act as the central coordination point between Operations, Projects, Logistics, Maintenance, and Facilities teams to support efficient execution. Inventory & Back Loading Operations - Manage inventory movement, consumables, and returning equipment to maintain stock accuracy and readiness. Cost Management & Continuous Improvement - Monitor and optimise load out operational costs. Identify and resolve operational challenges. Maintenance Coordination & Scheduling - Coordinate preventive maintenance activities to support asset availability and reliability Staff Supervision & Team Leadership - Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to operational personnel while promoting a collaborative, safety-first culture. Safety & Compliance Management – Ensure all operational activities meet company HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and certification obligations. Facilities Management (Gladstone Region) - Oversee daily management of workshops, yards, and offices. Conduct facility inspections/repairs to identify risks and maintenance requirements.
