The key duties of the position include We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Developer and Application Shared Batch Run team in Enterprise Solutions and Technology business area. As an IT Mainframe Batch Support Administrator, you will action escalated complex batch-related issues, provide leadership and expert oversight of application JCL configuration for batch schedules. You'll be responsible for the execution and management of complex batch processing activities. You will mentor and support other staff, offer guidance to build capability and ensure high quality work outcomes. You'll provide informed technical advice and work collaboratively with diverse business partners to resolve complex issues and develop practical solutions. You'll proactively identify and implement innovative methods to enhance the delivery of technical outcomes. This role may require participation in after-hours work to address real time issues. Candidates should be prepared to work outside standard bandwidth hours, including up to 9:00pm during peak release periods, to support legislative changes and ensure successful project delivery.
