Our client is reputable Construction company who are looking for skilled candidates to work in their warehousing and stock keeping department. The right candidate will be self motivated and a safe operator who holds safety in high regard. This is a privately owned business working within the construction and fabrication industry is looking for a Warehouse Manager who is self-motivate, reliable, and keen to build a career with a company who will allow them to run their warehouse their own way. Some of your duties will include: Maintaining plant, equipment, and tool registers, certifications, and compliance records Scheduling servicing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure zero overdue items Coordinating allocation of plant and tools across projects and factory operations Monitoring plant utilisation and identifying opportunities to reduce hire and ownership costs Managing stores layout, cleanliness, and stock control Maintaining minimum stock levels for critical consumables and materials Tracking materials issued to projects and supporting stocktakes and audits Coordinating procurement activities in line with project and factory programmes Raising and tracking purchase orders within approved budgets Managing supplier relationships, pricing agreements, and monitoring lead times Escalating material shortages or supply risks early with alternative solutions Coordinating transport scheduling for plant and materials Overseeing transport safety compliance including servicing, logbooks, load management, and pre-departure checks Providing visibility to Project Managers on plant, materials, ETAs, and procurement risks Identifying cost-saving opportunities through better planning, supplier consolidation, and reduced emergency purchasing To be successful you will need: Experience in plant coordination, procurement, supply chain, or construction operations Strong understanding of plant compliance, servicing schedules, and asset registers Knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, and cost control Ability to plan ahead and align procurement with project programmes Strong organisational and time-management skills High attention to detail with a proactive approach to risk management Confidence communicating with Project Managers, suppliers, factory teams, and site crews Ability to problem-solve quickly and provide practical alternatives Competency in tracking systems, registers, and basic reporting A safety-first mindset with strong compliance awareness What is on offer: Permanent employment $95k Fulltime Annual Salary Flexible working hours - Choose your own hours Warehouse based in Ormeau Achievable bonus and incentive schemes If you're looking for your next challenge and want to move into secure full time employment please apply or email a copy of your resume to nicholas@introrecruitment.com.au or call on 0422 228 399 and we will be in touch.
