My client is seeking a capable Senior Accountant to step into a pivotal role within a Partner-led boutique firm based in Melbourne’s Outer West. The Firm A well-established boutique practice led directly by the Partners, this firm services a broad SME client base and prides itself on delivering personalised, hands-on advice. With no other onshore accountants currently in the office, this is a key hire who will play an integral role in the firm’s day-to-day operations and continued growth. The Role This is a broad, autonomous position suited to someone comfortable managing their own workflow and engaging directly with clients. You’ll take ownership of a diverse SME portfolio while overseeing and delegating work to an offshore support team. You’ll be responsible for: Managing a portfolio of SME clients end-to-end Providing face-to-face advisory support and building strong client relationships Reviewing and delegating work to an offshore team Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met, particularly during peak periods Working closely with the Partner on client matters and firm operations This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys direct client interaction, and values structure without the layers of a larger firm.
