Job Description Full-time, 12‑month max-term (Mon–Fri) with a 9‑day fortnight option, ending March 2027 Supporting families across the NSW Far South Coast, based at our Bega site on the lands of the Djiringanj people Competitive salary 12% super salary packaging benefits up to $18,550 Your role, your impact As an Early Years Specialist , you will play a vital role in supporting children aged 0–8 and their families through the Early Childhood Approach . You’ll collaborate with a diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists to deliver evidence‑informed, family‑centred supports that help children thrive. Your work will focus on partnering with families , building confidence and capability , and supporting children to participate meaningfully in the everyday environments that matter most to them. Key responsibilities Deliver evidence‑informed supports in partnership with families to help them achieve their goals Use assessments, observations and child‑development expertise to tailor supports to each child and family Empower families and caregivers through coaching in everyday routines and environments Facilitate community inclusion by linking families with local supports, activities, and services Maintain accurate records of conversations, progress, goals and supports in the NDIA business system Support families to navigate NDIS access, planning, and implementation pathways Who we’re looking for Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood or Education Strong understanding of child development , including identification of delays or concerns Experience supporting children with developmental delay or disability Knowledge of the Early Childhood Approach , early childhood intervention best practice, and the NDIS Collaborative, strengths‑based practitioner with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to inclusive, family‑centred, culturally safe practice What’s in it for you At Each you’ll be supported to be your best.
