About the Role: Forensicare provides specialist mental health services for women at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, including the Marrmak Unit — a 20‑bed custodial mental health service — as well as a specialist outpatient service and therapeutic day program. In this role, you will deliver recovery‑focused occupational therapy through assessment, intervention and group programs, while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support women’s functional recovery. You will also contribute to service development, complete high‑quality clinical documentation, and provide supervision within a secure and dynamic clinical environment. About You: You will bring: A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and AHPRA registration. 5 years’ experience in mental health or a related field. Strong skills in occupational assessment, formulation and evidence‑based intervention. Experience or understanding of secure or forensic environments. Excellent communication, teamwork and reflective practice capabilities. Commitment to recovery‑oriented, person‑centred care and collaborative practice. What you need: Approved degree in Occupational Therapy recognised for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia – Australian Association of Occupational Therapists. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
