You will lead a team, influence senior operational leaders, design scalable finance models and champion best practice in project accounting (including ASC 606), ERP processes and financial reporting. Key responsibilities Lead the finance business partnering function to provide commercial insight, decision support and financial advice to executive leaders and operational teams. Translate complex financial data into clear, practical guidance that leaders can act on across Tetra Tech’s international development portfolio. Oversee budgets, forecasts and long‑term planning in partnership with the business, and support commercial proposal development. Lead financial modelling, scenario analysis and business case development for major initiatives. Drive the use of KPIs, dashboards and performance metrics to improve accountability and outcomes. Lead, coach and develop the finance business partnering team — managing multiple direct reports and fostering a high‑performing, commercially focused advisory culture. Build finance capability across the organisation by improving financial literacy and embedding disciplined decision‑making. Partner with the business on change initiatives including growth, cost optimisation, transformation and system improvements (ERP, automation). Identify and drive opportunities to improve financial performance, efficiency and value creation. Manage project reporting in accordance with company policies (including PEEAC, WAR and ASC 606) and oversee project setup and invoicing in the ERP. Prepare the monthly Corporate Pack and associated reconciliations and assist with internal and external audits. Address other requirements in line with business needs. Selection criteria Fully qualified CA or CPA (essential). Proven leader with hands‑on experience managing, coaching and developing finance professionals. Extensive background in finance business partnering within complex, multi‑stakeholder environments. Demonstrated expertise in project accounting, revenue recognition and forecasting. Strong financial modelling and analytical capability, able to turn numbers into practical insight. Experienced presenting commercial recommendations to senior leaders and executive teams. Highly organised, proactive self‑starter who thrives in ambiguity, adapts quickly to change, and can prioritise competing demands to deliver clear, timely decisions.
