In this role, you will help keep the centre functioning smoothly while supporting a range of research and advocacy activities . This position also offers the potential to progress into a PhD that is aligned with the Centre’s work. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Synthesising literature and contributing to systematic reviews Report writing Initiate and conduct research under limited supervision Contribute towards building future projects and grant applications Assist in the preparation of Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) and Governance submissions Effectively produce and maintain project data. For more information on this role, please see our detailed Position Descriptions Research Assistant and Research Associate Skills, Knowledge and Experience/ Our Successful Candidate Essential Tertiary qualifications in nutrition, science or healthcare discipline Completed a master’s or honours degree, or completing a master’s degree Excellent written language communication skills and ability to draft a wide range of documents Experience in quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies Excellent time management and organisational skills, having the ability to take initiative and follow up independently Good attention to detail Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products and the internet Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing organisational priorities Ability to work well within a research team and excellent interpersonal skills Strong focus on quality of work .
