Your role at St John of God Geelong Hospital We are seeking experienced Cardiothoracic Scrub/Scout Nurses who are enthusiastic and motivated to join our Cardiothoracic Scrub Scout Team on a casual basis. Join a dynamic, collaborative, and supportive perioperative team within a state-of-the-art facility featuring 10 operating theatres and 2 catheter laboratories. In this role, you will deliver high-quality nursing care across the perioperative journey, proactively assess and respond to evolving clinical needs, and contribute to a strong culture of safety and excellence in patient care. For nurses with cardiothoracic experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of an innovative cardiothoracic team alongside leading cardiac surgeons, contributing to advanced and progressive cardiac care. You will hold registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and you will have Surgical Scrub Scout experience and show knowledge specific to the specialty.
