ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an enthusiastic People & Culture Advisor to join our growing team on a permanent full-time basis. Working alongside a large team of highly skilled HR professionals, and directly under a HR Consultant, you will have exposure to a wide variety of organisations, industries and work. This is a broad, generalist HR role with an advisory and client focus – effectively acting as an extension of our client’s internal HR team, helping them to grow and succeed. As a People & Culture Advisor your responsibilities include: Collaborate with clients to design and implement HR policies, procedures and programs aligned with their business objectives Providing guidance, advice and operational support in relation to all P&C related matters such as performance management, employee relations and compliance. Interpret and apply compliance with modern awards, WHS obligations and Fair Work obligations in Australia Ensure procedural fairness, and support investigations and documentation Coach clients on handling sensitive conversations, communications and implementing performance improvement plans Support HR Consultants to effectively manage complex employee relations cases, including misconduct, performance management, grievances and terminations Conduct HR audits and risk assessments for clients, identifying gaps, recommending improvements and leading outcome initiatives Facilitate engagement surveys and help develop action plans to improve culture and retention Coordinate learning and development initiatives, including coaching managers on leadership and team management Attend meetings and conduct regular site visits, ensuring strong client relationships through proactive service delivery and communication ABOUT YOU Tertiary qualifications within the field of Human Resources, Business, Psychology or Law. Experience in a similar HR officer/advisory role, handling the full employee lifecycle HRIS management experience (Employment Hero) Understanding and ability to interpret legislation, awards, industrial instruments, policies, and procedures relevant to HR practice. Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively resolve workplace issues. Ability to develop effective relationships with key stakeholders. Advanced computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office Suite). Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
