About the role As our Early Childhood Educator, you will work in a collaborative environment alongside Early Childhood Teachers and other Early Childhood Educators to provide a responsive environment that supports children’s wellbeing, relationships and learning through intentional teaching, partnerships and critical reflection. You will also provide support with our playgroups. You will plan, implement and document a rich program which reflects our vision of a creative learning environment for children of all abilities and all cultures. You will work alongside other professionals like Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and a Early Childhood Teachers who are all on your team. Inclusive and culturally safe workplace The day to day Form positive relationships with children that foster their social, emotional and educational development. Observe how children respond to existing programming and provide feedback to senior staff to ensure the interests and needs of each child are being met. Assist with the implementation of daily routines, infection control measures and maintain supplies in each room. A day in the Kindy may also include assisting driving the bus. What you will bring to us and our families At least a Certificate III qualification that allows you to work in Early Childhood Education with previous experience in a similar role. Current unrestricted drivers license. Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards. Great people skills and the ability to create strong respectful relationships with people from all walks of life. Good time management and organisational skills including the ability to be flexible. A passion and experience working with children with additional needs very highly regarded. Experience developing a rich curriculum and up to date pedagogy.
