The Role We're seeking Seed Processing / Forklift Operators to support a busy cotton seed processing site in Wee Waa, NSW. This is a hands-on role in the agriculture sector, working within a production plant environment where quality, productivity and safety are key. You'll assist with processing activities from receival through to treatment and dispatch, operating equipment and forklifts as part of a supportive, safety-focused team. Key Responsibilities Your role supports safe, efficient processing and dispatch of cotton seed products while maintaining quality standards. You will: Assist across operational areas such as materials receival, delinting, treatment, nursery and dispatch Operate forklifts and production plant equipment safely and efficiently Complete processing tasks including receival/clean-down, delinting, bagging, chemical treatment and associated area clean-downs Monitor product standards and report any quality issues to the relevant team members Report hazards and assist with routine plant maintenance and minor repairs as required Follow site procedures, safe work instructions and use PPE correctly at all times Benefits $35.15 per hour base rate, plus penalties and loadings where applicable Penalty rates: Saturday $52.73 , Sunday $70.30 , Afternoon/Night shift $40.42 , Public Holiday $87.88 Overtime rates: first 3 hours $52.73 , after 3 hours $70.30 Seasonal role: 7 April 2026 to approx.
