Sync Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Educator to join an esteemed early childhood education center. As a Lead Educator, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their growth and development. Responsibilities: Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs in line with the center's curriculum and guidelines. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of educators, supporting their professional development. Establish positive and collaborative relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages children's exploration and creativity. Monitor and assess each child's progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records. Plan and facilitate engaging activities, promoting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on their child's development and well-being. Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists or counselors, to support children with specific needs. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, including health and safety guidelines. Requirements: Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care or Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education or Care or relative field (Must be recognised by ACECQA) Relevant experience working in an early childhood education setting. Strong knowledge of child development principles and early learning frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and inspire a team of educators. Demonstrated creativity and adaptability in planning and implementing educational activities. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development. Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Valid Working with Children Check or equivalent clearance.
