The role: The Nurse Manager (NM) - Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) will lead and manage the coordination of patient access and flow for the Mersey Community Hospital (MCH), lead and manage the IOC team and coordinate and manage casual/pool and identified positions. The NM - IOC will work consultatively and collaboratively across a broad internal and external stakeholder network to effectively coordinate and manage resources for the delivery of safe, effective and efficient services. With extensive networks in place, Integrated Operations are the key to getting all patients to the right care in the right place. Located in Latrobe, the Mersey Community Hospital offers general and specialist health services including 24-hour emergency department, general medicine day surgery and endoscopy, rehabilitation, palliative care and oncology services along with a variety of specialist clinics. Mersey Community Hospital is a dedicated elective surgery centre and provides a mixture of general hospital services. The hospital has close ties with the University of Tasmania through the Rural Clinical School and with TAFE Tasmania thus providing opportunities for comprehensive clinical training programs. Details of Appointment Permanent part time, day worker position working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing from June 2026. *notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Salary: $123,036 to $132,932 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
