Welder/Fabricator Sunset Group Australia Pty Ltd Location: Bathurst NSW Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time The Role Sunset Group Australia Pty Ltd are seeking several Welder/Fabricators to fabricate fences, gates and custom pieces from our factory floor in Bathurst NSW. This is a permanent full-time position for successful candidates. This role will be remunerated at $78,135.50 before tax p.a. in addition to guaranteed superannuation. Position requirements - At least 3 years’ welding experience - A Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or other relevant recognised Australian certificate or higher. Successful applicants are expected to: · Weld fences and gates to specification · Weld or braze together fabricated parts to assemble structural metal products. · Operate hand or power tools to cut, grind, buff, drill, notch or bend metals. · Operate or tend automatic welding machines to perform spot or seam welding operations on parts or products. · Install and maintain welding equipment, oxygen tanks and power supplies. · Maintain and repair equipment. · Inspect workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straight-edges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. · Tend annealing furnaces to heat and temper metals. · Heat, bend, straighten or roll metal stock to shape it according to specifications. · Operate soldering equipment to join or seal parts or products. · Set up and operate oxygen and cutting torches. · Other reasonable instructions as required for the job.
