Description The Role The Project Lead – Right Care Right Place will collaborate closely with the National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC) to continue implementing and refining a service navigation model tailored to Adelaide PHN's regional requirements, which is flexible and scalable and aligned with the NEDC's eating disorder system of care framework. This position is a critical component of the Department of Health and Ageing funded Right Care Right Place: Eating Disorder Care in my Community (RCRP) project. A significant focus of the role will be building the capacity of primary care providers across the Adelaide PHN region to identify, respond to, treat and support recovery from eating disorders, streamlining referral pathways, and fostering collaborative practice within the primary healthcare system in Adelaide. The RCRP project assists in addressing practical barriers and strengthening enablers for people experiencing eating disorders so that there is access to effective evidence-based treatment through primary care providers across the Adelaide PHN region. Skills And Experiences About You To be successful in this role you’ll need: Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health-related field. Formal project management qualification (desirable). Experience Program management experience, including multi-stakeholder projects. Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading knowledge management activities with a focus on best practice. Experience in or well-developed understanding of the primary/tertiary and allied health care context. Experience working in a primary care setting (desirable). Experience working across the social services and/or health-related sector, with a focus on eating disorders, disordered eating and mental health (desirable). Experience in eating disorders, disordered eating and mental health sector project management and delivery (desirable). Skills Demonstrated skills in project management, including project planning, execution, and evaluation, and project management methodologies. Strategic, analytical, problem solving and planning skills. Strong communication skills both verbal and written and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders (internal and external). Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with diverse stakeholders, create harmonious working relationships and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach. Ability to be self-directed and demonstrate high-level time management skills. High-level information technology skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge (or ability to rapidly acquire is desirable) Understanding of care coordination. Knowledge of eating disorders, disordered eating, mental health and referral pathways. Knowledge of the primary and tertiary health sectors. Knowledge of the Australian primary health care sector, particularly in relation to General Practice. Knowledge of, and experience with, navigating local medical and social support services. Knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Schedule, including Enhanced Primary Care items Health Assessments, Team Care Arrangements, Eating Disorder Treatment Plans and GP Management Plans.
