From assisting customers with library resources and technology, to supporting programs and events, every day brings something new. About the Role Help library users access information, resources, technology support and training, and maintain a welcoming, well-presented environment. Assist with library programs, outreach activities, events, and promotion of library services. Support collections management, manage community spaces, and uphold effective information management practices. This role is required work across a 7-day roster, to support the operational requirements of PAE libraries. It also involves periods of standing and walking, along with the physical handling of library items, shelving, moving tables and chairs, and other materials as required for library programs and activities About you You’re customer‑focused, community‑minded, and aligned with the City of PAE’s values, communicating with clarity, respect and professionalism. You thrive in a busy public environment, bringing resilience, patience and empathy, staying calm and solution‑focused in challenging situations. You solve problems efficiently, manage your time well, and contribute positively to a collaborative team. This casual pool offers flexible, adhoc shifts across our library branches, depending on operational needs, perfect for those currently studying or seeking flexible work.
