Based from our manufacturing facility and distribution centre in South-East Queensland, we service clients Australia wide, supplying customised name badges, personal and ID security solutions, awards, trophies, promotional products, workwear, apparel, headwear and signage The Account Manager is responsible for securing new business, particularly within ASX 500 organisations, through strategic planning, strong communication, and effective stakeholder engagement. The role also requires managing and expanding existing accounts, increasing product uptake, and ensuring exceptional customer service to support retention and long‑term relationships. Key responsibilities will include; Drive sales performance and growth of new and existing customers. Align sales activity and growth within company target markets and regions. Build, manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline Convert leads to wins. Achieve or exceed budgeted sales and trading margin contribution targets. Monitor sales by product group to identify areas of opportunity. Develop and execute strategies to further advance organic growth. Onboarding customers for successful first order in partnership with internal account management team. Develop and implement strategic plans for contract retention working alongside key stakeholders. Meet regularly with management to discuss contracts, field work, growth opportunities and opposition activities in the territory. Understand reporting requirements and maintain a high level of reporting accuracy and proficiency. Collaborate with the Sales Manager to prepare annual budget by client. YOUR BACKGROUND Demonstrated experience in an Account Management or B2B sales role, delivering measurable results across enquiries, quoting, conversion and client retention. Experience in retail, merchandise, apparel and/or promotional products is advantageous but not essential Proven ability to build, manage and grow customer relationships that drive repeat business and account growth. Track record of achieving or exceeding sales revenue, new business and growth targets through proactive client development. Ability to influence decision‑makers and convert qualified opportunities into confirmed sales. Disciplined approach to sales execution, including planning and completing daily outbound activity (calls, emails, meetings, quoting) in line with KPIs. Strong sales discipline, including pipeline management, CRM maintenance and timely weekly sales reporting. High attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline driven environment. Self‑motivated, energetic and accountable - demonstrating urgency, ownership of targets and consistent follow‑through.
