About the Opportunity We’re seeking experienced Service Technicians – Heavy Mechanical to join our professional Service Team at our new site. Most roles are workshop ‑ based, working with specialised heavy equipment in a clean, well ‑ equipped environment. We also have field ‑ based positions for technicians who enjoy working independently and supporting customers on the road. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our equipment is safe, reliable and performing at its best. What You’ll Be Doing Servicing and maintaining refuse trucks, sweepers, vacuum tankers and static compaction equipment Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults Interpreting hydraulic and electrical schematics Performing major component rebuilds and overhauls Maintaining a clean, safe and professional work environment What You Bring Proven heavy mechanical experience (plant, heavy vehicle, agricultural, mining or similar) Strong hydraulic diagnostics and fault ‑ finding skills Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems Fabrication and welding skills (MIG/TIG/Stick highly regarded) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings A practical, solutions ‑ focused mindset Current Driver’s Licence Trade qualifications are highly regarded — but not essential.
