Description The opportunity We are seeking a Finance Manager to join Downer’s Energy & Utilities business, supporting our Water QLD operations. Reporting to the Head of Finance - Water QLD , this role plays a critical leadership and business partnering function, working closely with Operations, Project teams and senior stakeholders to drive financial performance, commercial outcomes and strategic objectives. This is a highly influential role at the centre of the business, responsible for financial governance, performance reporting, forecasting, project valuation, working capital management and strategic financial planning across a diverse portfolio of major infrastructure projects. You will lead and develop a high-performing finance team, embedding strong financial controls, continuous improvement, and a culture of excellence, collaboration and accountability. This role is vital to the success of our operations enabling informed decision-making, maximising project returns, strengthening financial discipline and supporting sustainable long-term growth across the sector.
