The most competitive zinc refinery in the world Description About the role Sun Metals is seeking an experienced Application Analyst to join our Information Technology team. This is a full-time position reporting to the IT Superintendent, working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment supporting critical business systems. You’ll work closely with users across the business to support and improve our ERP landscape, translating requirements into practical solutions and ensuring reliable operation of key applications and integrations. Key responsibilities Key responsibilities of this position include: Supporting and maintaining Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 environments Partnering with application users to understand requirements and map them to appropriate best-practice solutions Converting business requirements into detailed functional and technical specification documents Providing functional and technical support across key JDE modules, including Finance, Purchasing, Sales, and EDI Designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting JDE solutions, including custom objects, reports, and interfaces, in line with business and system standards Supporting and maintaining integrations between JDE, EDI and other third-party systems Proactively participating in continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and process optimisation Assisting with testing, change deployment and production support to ensure stable outcomes Skills And Experiences About you To be successful in this role, you will have (or be able to quickly acquire): A Bachelor degree in IT or related field, or equivalent industry experience 5 years’ experience in application/ERP support roles Experience supporting Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 (functional and/or technical) Knowledge of JDE modules including Finance, Supply Chain and Sales Experience with JDE development/customisation and/or reporting Database experience (e.g., Oracle and/or SQL Server) Experience integrating JDE with other systems (EDI/integration platforms/APIs) Exposure to delivering outcomes in project environments (requirements, testing, rollout support) Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach Being able to speak Korean would be advantageous but not essential.
